Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using TalkPilot.
TalkPilot is a language practice app that helps you improve spoken English with real-time speech recognition, translation, AI suggestions, and related support features. These Terms govern your access to and use of the app and related services.
Some features require you to sign in. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of your device, and activity that occurs through your account or anonymous app session.
TalkPilot requests microphone access so you can start live speaking sessions. Before these features begin, the app shows an in-app notice asking for your permission to send the required voice and text data. When you choose to use speech, translation, or AI features, your audio, transcripts, conversation text, and related prompts may be processed by TalkPilot and service providers such as Deepgram (speech recognition), Cerebras or Together AI (AI suggestions and review), Google Cloud Translation when enabled, and Supabase-hosted backend services that deliver the requested feature. If you do not want this processing, do not start those features.
Depending on the feature you use, TalkPilot may process or store conversation transcripts, generated replies, review results, session metadata, and limited local voice samples so the app can provide history, session continuity, account sync, debugging, fraud prevention, and customer support. Some processing may be transient, while some data may remain associated with your account or device until deleted or no longer needed.
Unless we clearly disclose otherwise and obtain any required consent, we do not use your private conversation content to train our own foundation models. We may use de-identified operational metrics, error information, and aggregate usage patterns to improve reliability, abuse prevention, and product performance.
AI-generated suggestions, translations, and reviews may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for your situation. You remain responsible for how you use any output from TalkPilot, especially in legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, or other high-risk situations.
TalkPilot may offer a paid subscription that unlocks premium features. Subscription payments and renewals are processed by the App Store. Prices and availability may vary by region and are shown in the purchase flow.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to App Store policies.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you may restore eligible purchases tied to your Apple ID by using the Restore Purchases option in the app. Restoration requires an internet connection and may take time to sync.
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer the app, or access the service in an unauthorized way.
If you want to access, correct, delete, or inquire about your personal data, you can use the in-app account deletion flow at Settings > Account > Delete Account, or contact us at lihao15510558202@gmail.com for other privacy requests. We may need to verify your request before taking action.
